How stressed are you? How stressed are the people around you? Would you be surprised to hear that norther New England is one of the least stressed parts of the country?

The website zippia.com recently conducted a study, in order to rank all 50 states in order, from most stressed to least stressed. And wouldn't you know, two New England states came in as some of the least stressed in the country!

According to the study, Maine is relatively low stress, ranking at  number 41. Meanwhile, Vermont did even better, coming in at number 45.  So that makes two New England states in the 10 least stressed in the country.

New Hampshire's rank was pretty much middle of the road, at #28. And as you look at the rest of New England, it's starts to get more stressful - Rhode Island is #21, Massachusetts is #18, and Connecticut is #17.

The study took several factors in to consideration, including commute times, unemployment rate, hours worked, population density, home price to income ratio, and percent of population uninsured.
