Summer in Maine means warm weather, lighthouse visits, days at the beach, and of course, FOOD! We know how to do food right, here in Maine, and we celebrate the best of the best each and every year with annual food and drink festivals. Moxie Festival, Lisbon: July 12th-14th
Love it or hate it, Moxie is a Maine icon and no one does it better than the home of Moxie, Lisbon! This event not only features the soda but also a parade, a 5k, petting zoo, block party and more!
Wells Brew Fest, Wells: July 13th
Enjoy beautiful southern Maine and a drink in your hand with the 2nd annual Wells Brew Fest! Be sure to get your ticket to enjoy the 3-hour festival with UNLIMITED sampling and a souvenir pint glass. Designated Driver tickets are available too!
Maine Potato Blossom Festival, Fort Fairfield: July 13th-21st
Sure, Fort Fairfield isn't the most easily accessible area in the state but this is a can't miss festival! It's been the highlight of the summer for locals and many tourists alike for 72 years. Plus, who doesn't love potatoes?!
Yarmouth Clam Festival, Yarmouth: July 19th-21st
A Maine tradition for 54 years. This year, see none other than Barry Williams, aka Greg Brady of The Brady Bunch as Parade Marshal!
Woofstock: Dog-Friendly Food & Beer Festival, Kennebunk: July 20th
Food, beer, and dogs?! Need I say more?!
Artisan Bread Fair, Skowhegan: July 27th
Stay home if you're wanting to cut carbs! This event at the Skowhegan Fairgrounds features not only bread, but pastries, pizza, cheese, and more!
Maine Brewers' Guild Summer Beer Festival, South Portland, July 27th
"The biggest brewfest in Maine" features 76 local breweries so this is one event you won't want to miss. It's your one-stop shop to get to know what the Maine beer industry is all about. VIP tickets include designated parking, exclusive beers, and a VIP area. Designated Driver tickets are also available.
Garlic Festival, Turner: July 27th
Who doesn't like garlic?! This event features a garlic luncheon, various tastings, and even garlic ice cream making! Get your tickets now!
Maine Lobster Festival, Rockland: July 31st-August 4th
One of the most well-known festivals in Maine celebrates our iconic crustation of choice, the lobster! See the next Sea Goddess get crowned, enjoy live entertainment, tour a pirate ship, and of course, all the lobster dishes you can think of!
Machias Blueberry Festival, Machias: August 16th-18th
We're known for our blueberries here and Maine, so get out and celebrate them! Don't forget to get tickets to the play, "Blueberries on the Roof", other live entertainment, farm tours, and three days of vendors!
Skowhegan Craft Brew Festival, Skowhegan: August 31st
This Central Maine brew fest features over 30 local breweries. VIP tickets include early admission, exclusive brews, and a swag bag! Designated Driver tickets are also available. This event also features live entertainment and local food vendors!
Maine Cheese Festival, Pittsfield: September 8th
An event to celebrate Maine's cheese and dairy industries! A general admission ticket to this event includes a festival bag, complimentary cheese plate, and parking. They also have a beer garden featuring 12 tastings for $15. There will also be live music and food trucks in addition to all the delicious cheese!
Maine Brew Fest, Newry: September 13th-15th
Take a trip up to Sunday River and start your weekend off with a beer dinner Friday night and events throughout Saturday.
Sebago Spirits Festival, Casco: September 14th
If beer isn't your thing, how about some spirits? Sample rum, whiskey, and even blueberry moonshine at this event and get to know the tips and tricks to make a great Maine-made cocktail. Designated Driver tickets are also available.
Maine Lakes Brewfest, Casco: September 28th
Celebrating 16 years this brewfest features over 30 brewers, live music, and food vendors. Your ticket includes a souvenir glass!
Pemaquid Oyster Festival, Pemaquid: September 29th
Summer ain't over yet! Get your fill of oysters, mussels, and lobsters at The Schooner Landing in Damariscotta. Enjoy live music while you're there!
Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta, Damariscotta: October 11th-14th
End the year of festivals with the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest and Regatta! Not only are there pumpkin treats to enjoy eating, but pumpkins to enjoy looking at too with beautifully painted, carved, and designed pumpkins lining Main Street. End the weekend by watching the pumpkin boats race in the river!
