A man accused of stalking a 28-year-old person could be sentenced to up to 21 years in prison.

Edwin Burke, 30, was indicted by a grand jury at Strafford County Superior Court in Dover on Sept. 17. He is charged with three Class B felonies.

Burke entered the home of the person he was stalking on April 17. He returned and was within 500 feet of the residence on May 26, according to court paperwork.

Burke is also accused of making contact with his victim on Aug. 23, 2020.

In addition to serving time in prison, Burke could be fined up to $12,000 if he is convicted of the crimes, according to court paperwork.
