USM To Get A Multi-Million Dollar Renovation Of Its Longtime Dining Hall In Gorham
It's been a long time coming. The University of Southern Maine Gorham campus will see a major upgrade very soon, as the Brooks Dining Hall will be receiving a two million dollar renovation that will completely modernize a facility that desperately needs it.
According to KeepMeCurrent, the NEW Brooks Dining Hall at USM's Gorham Campus will feature new food stations with increased options for students. There will be an expanded salad bar that will feature a made-to-order deli. Additionally, there will be a new stir-fry kiosk for fresh flavors. And perhaps most exciting, the dining hall renovation will include a gas-fired brick over where students will be able enjoy a variety of new pizzas.
The University of Southern Maine shared some photos of the proposed look of the future Brooks Dining Hall on their website. The new, renovated dining area will also include some major improvements for students with different food allergies. Students will have the option to work with a staff chef on creating their own meals to improve their diet and avoid problem foods.
