These Five New Hampshire Mexican Restaurants Are Highly Underrated
Mexican food is my absolute fav! It was what I crave the most so I am always on the hunt for new sports to enjoy a delicious burrito and margarita. My go-to order at a Mexican restaurant is a Carne Asada Burrito with spicy salsa and guacamole. Yes, I will splurge the extra $1.25 for the guac. Go big or go home! And I like to wash it all down with a spicy margarita.
Great restaurants get a lot of hype and of course it is warranted. But some restaurants are hidden gems that just don't get the credit they deserve! I want to shine a light on those establishments. I took to Facebook to poll my friends on the most underrated Mexican restaurants in New Hampshire. They have some opinions, let me tell you! Here are my findings:
California Burritos, Nashua
According to OnlyinYourState, this establishment prides themselves in using the freshest ingredients ever!
Some burritos come out even bigger than your baby. Need proof?
One of their most popular menu items is the Carne Asada fries. I'm sorry but this dish is what cheat days are made of. This concoction is made up of french fries, steak, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, pico de gallo, and salsa verde. GET IN MY BELLY!
Las Palmas, Somersworth
This place is authentic and amazing amd MAJORLY underrated. Even the chips and salsa at the table are bomb.com.
If you are in the Raymond area and want to try something OTHER than the world famous Tuckaway Tavern, try Gordos. You won't find better chili cheese fries, I can promise you that.
My Cielo Taqueria, Rochester
This place + football Sundays is a match made in heaven. Try the nacho burger!
Las Olas Taqueria, Hampton
According to Yelp, this is described as a no-frills Mexican eatery that provides "a variety of familiar Mexican street eats in a colorful interior."
Well today is taco Tuesday and now I don't know where to celebrate! There are so many options! If I'm forgetting any, please leave your suggestions in the comments.
