There are a lot of woods to be protected and managed here in Maine. Thanks to the Wardens for doing so. The Animal Planet hit TV show 'North Woods Law' started in 2012, and was an instant hit here in our state. It was so cool to see our own on TV! Unfortunately, the show has been cancelled, in part due to Gov. Lepage. He admitted to having a hand in the demise of the show, due to an investigation and complaints he was receiving from concerned citizens. There will be 2 more seasons of the show, before it is cancelled.

Coming up on September 24th, The Maine Wildlife Park in Gray is celebrating the show with 'North Woods Law' Day.  The event is happening from 9:30am-3pm, with tons of fun activities, and you getting to meet your favorite Warden. Here is all the details you need to know for the event:


Join us at the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray to celebrate
National Hunting and Fishing Day and meet several of the game wardens featured on Animal Planet's hit tv show North Woods Law!

The Warden Service Dive Trailer, Airboat, UTV, and the Operation Game Thief trailer will also be on display.

The Maine Warden Association t-shirts and hats will also be available for purchase, and for autographs! Friends of the Maine Wildlife Park will be hosting a benefit BBQ with dogs and burgers too!

There is no extra fee for this special event, however regular wildlife park admission will apply.
Adults $7.50, 4-12 $5.50, Seniors (60+)$5.50, 3/under free.
