With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing its run throughout the country, Seacoast counties and municipalities across parts of New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts have been no exception.

Here are the current trends of coronavirus spread on the Seacoast.

Among New Hampshire Seacoast municipalities, the biggest hotspot for active cases of COVID-19 is Durham, home of the main University of New Hampshire campus. Durham had 214 active infections as of Thursday, February 25.

Dover ranked second among New Hampshire Seacoast municipalities with 43 infections as of Thursday. Somersworth had 40 coronavirus cases and Portsmouth had 39. Rochester had 35 to round out the top five.

About 12% of active cases in the state exist within those five municipalities alone.
