Christmas is a season about love, family, and giving. At least, that is what we have been shown and told our entire lives. But, the dirty part of Christmas is that some people have a hard time with the season; don't have family, and feel alone. But, a Toronto Woman is hoping to help her 85 year old mother know that she is loved, and not forgotten. And, she needs your help.

Jane Gilbert wants her mother to feel loved this holiday season and, she has asked us on Facebook to help. When she was growing up, back before social media, the highlight of the Christmas season was her family receiving Christmas cards. Her mother would hang all of them up, and then after the holidays, they would make crafts with the cards for next year. But, as time went on, the less cards came to their home. Her mother mentioned last year that she didn't get many cards at all, due to her friends and family passing a way.

Jane wanted to do something to lift her mother's spirits during the holiday season. So this year, she turned to Facebook to help her mom.

Dear Facebook Friends and Family, I am writing to you in the hopes that you could take a wee bit of time out of your day...

Will you send her a Christmas Card this year?
