Year of Service

Hilary Tirck

Townsquare Media New Hampshire is proud to present this year's Year of Service awards!

The annual Year of Service program is a comprehensive on-air and digital program designed to make a significant contribution to regional non-profit organizations; and has been running for over thirty years.

This year, the charitable initiative will support eight non-profits across four Townsquare Media radio stations (102.1 & 105.3 The Shark, 97.5 WOKQ, 94.9 WHOM, and 103.7 The Peak). These public service campaigns will aim to increase awareness for the following incredible organizations:

The Mayhew Program

The Mayhew Program challenges and helps at-risk New Hampshire boys to believe in themselves, work well with others, and find their best.  It is the only all-boys program in the state that combines a residential summer program and school year mentoring for at-risk boys, tuition-free, through high school graduation.

New Generation

New Generation provides shelter and guidance for pregnant and parenting homeless women and their infants regardless of race, religion, marital status, disability, or economic status. New Generation offers more than shelter. Each resident participates in a program designed to increase proper and effective parenting and increase self-sufficiency.

Live & Let Live Farm Rescue and Sanctuary

Live & Let Live Farm's Rescue and Sanctuary is an animal shelter that rescues abused and unwanted animals, mainly horses, and pregnant dogs and cats, and provides them either a temporary or permanent safe place to interact with people.

SOS Recovery Community Organization

The mission of SOS Recovery Community Organization is to reduce stigma and harm associated with substance misuse by providing safe space and peer based supports for people in all stages of recovery.

NFI North, Inc.

For four decades, NFI North has successfully helped thousands of children, youth, families, adults and seniors with diverse needs to make positive changes in their lives, to achieve personal goals, and experience the full promise of life in their communities. NFI’s broad range of mental health, child welfare, juvenile justice, educational and rehabilitative programs include home-based services, supported living, residential treatment, and foster care programs.

Liberty House

Liberty House helps homeless and struggling Veterans by connecting them to available resources and providing a safe, substance-free transitional house.

Southeastern New Hampshire Drug & Alcohol Abuse Services

SENHS provides expert addiction treatment to help and support individuals and families who are in need of services.

Citizens Count

Citizens Count℠ is a nonprofit nonpartisan organization created to serve New Hampshire citizens by providing objective information about issues and candidates, promoting the civil exchange of opinions in a variety of forums, online and in person, and connecting citizens with their elected officials
