Huge portions and authentic flavors.

Guerrero Maya is located near the Maine Mall.  It's the old burger place Wild Willy's that has been converted to this.

First, you can get a hand crafted margarita in 3 different sizes.  This is the middle sized drink and it was fresh and refreshing.

My choice was a large, amber brew and it was cold and tasty.  Good thing I did, because what came next needed something cold.

Took a tug of the beer to help cool down these salsa's.

The middle one is the mild version, the one to the right is a bit warmer and the one to the far left is challenging, a salsa made with habanero peppers.  Really tasty though.  By the way, don't expect to be rushed.  This visit will be casual and relaxing.

Up next:  FOOD!

Gotta remember to take the picture first, then eat.  This is a chicken quesadilla and it was delicious.  There was a lot of food to take home too.

This is a photo of the two taco, one enchilada plate minus the two taco's which were consumed before this picture was taken.  Shredded beef and ground beef taco's were crunchy and tasty.  The rest went home for lunch.  BUT....we did leave room for dessert.

We chose the Adelita and took a picture of it so, we could explain what came with it in case we forgot to take a picture first.  But, we didn't forget.

We ate almost the whole thing, but couldn't finish it simply because of the sheer amount of food they brought.  Overall, you'll find Guerrero Maya a bit pricier, and it has more of a sit down and relax feel to it, rather than order, here's your food, see ya later.  You can linger here and enjoy some conversation.  The staff is attentive and ready to please.  The portions are huge.  You can't go wrong.
