We revealed Chad Haynes to be the winner of the Peak's Hometown Riser competition back in January, but now it's time to take him to the next level!

Chad Haynes

Chad is competing with 14 other finalists to win the title of Taste of Country's Hometown Riser, to get airtime on the nationally-syndicated Taste of Country Nights radio show, and to get a featured interview on Taste of Country. And from there? Well, as stars like Brett YoungDevin Dawson and Kalie Shorr have learned, Taste of Country never forgets about its RISERS.

We need your help to make Chad the winner by voting for him HERE.

Once you find his photo on the Taste of Country Hometown Riser Contest page, click on the "Vote Now" button! You can vote once every day until the competition ends at 11:59PM ET on June 18, 2018.

Chad is a multi-instrumentalist from Mexico, Maine. He has played bass in rock-n-roll cover bands, lead guitar in original jam bands, and recently started studying mandolin. He has been writing his own music on guitar for over 20 years and his influences range widely from Darrell Scott to Chris Stapleton, The Doors to The Foo Fighters, Chris Thile and more.

Over the past decade Chad has performed as a solo artist at music festivals throughout the Northern New England area and in a variety of bands playing multiple venues from Long Island, NY, to Burlington, VT, and Portland, ME.

Let's turn our local star into a national one! Good luck, Chad!
