You know, sometimes stories come along in the news and in my life that are just 'not normal'. And, I shake my head, and say 'What the Crap Man'?!

This one is a positive 'What the Crap Man' because it's about giving back...like, a lot!

As reported by KATU 2 in Portland, Oregon; the Salvation Army got a HUGE donation in one of their famed Christmas buckets last week. After a volunteer's bell ringing shift Wednesday, the bucket was jam packed with $100 bills. Not just a couple, if fact, it was $10,000 worth to give to those in need this holiday season. This is the largest donation in the Portland, Oregon area EVER. But, there have been bigger donations before this. The largest in the US was about 2 years ago in Minnesota a couple dropped a check for $500,000 in a bucket.

'What the crap' I wish I could do that. I did donate to the red buckets outside Wal-Mart in Scarborough, Maine Friday. I gave all the change that I had in my wallet. But, THIS mega donation puts mine to shame! You know what though, the holiday spirit is all about giving. It doesn't matter how much, just as long as you can.

Have you made a donation to a charity this season?

Happy Holidays to you!
