So crazy to think that millions of years ago molten lava created this beautiful piece of New Hampshire landscape!

We have plenty of summer left to hit the road and go sightseeing in the gorgeous state of New Hampshire. Next up, you should plan a trip to Campton to see the Flume Gorge tucked away in the Franconia Notch. Millions of years ago the gorge was formed by molten lava and it was discovered in 1808 by a 93 year old woman who was going fishing. The tour also features a covered bridge, wolf den, and Avalanche Falls.

If you have visited Flume Gorge, do you have any suggestions on where to eat and stay in the area?
