Non-Smokers Get Extra Time Off For Not Smoking
Each time a co-worker smokes, the non-smoker actually gets cheated.
According to a story published today by WCSH 6, a company in Japan made the change based on an entry in an employee suggestion box.
The owners of the company researched and came up with this following: it took a smoker about 15 minutes total for each cigarette including the time to and from the designated smoking area. So, the non-smokers complained and got an additional SIX DAYS OFF each year for not puffing.
What do you think about this? Is it a worthwhile thing?
