We've had a few over the years, and each one has a well chosen name.

Some of the past names for roosters have included "Hannibal Pecter", "Jean-luc Peckhard" and "Jacque Roostoe".  You can tell the different themes that were important in choosing a name.

This is "Merle" and he's a Rhode Island Red.  He patrols the property and keeps the ladies happy.  I "think" he's named after a character from "The Walking Dead."  Who says farming isn't humorous?
