Mother Nature has designed an all-natural tick killer.

Dave Winsor, 1037thepeak.com

These are Guinea Hens and they spend the day roaming around Four Winds Farm just looking for nasty little bugs to eat and that includes ticks.  They love ticks and when we have Guinea's on the property we don't have ticks.  Our mini horse Opie is glad we have them because he is tick free!

You start off with keets and raise them until they feather out and then you get them into a cage outside and feed them and water them in the cage so they get a sense of where they belong.  If you skip this important "imprint" phase, your hens will just, take off and take up residence someplace else.  Oh yeah, one other thing, listen to this:

They are the best watchdog like bird EVER.  You'll be hearing this a lot, so get used to it and oh yeah, no ticks.
