As Portland's reputation continues to grow for being a "foodie" destination, it's becoming more and more difficult to separate yourself from the rest of the crowd. In every corner of the city, you'll find incredible culinary options, some with broad menus and others that are more specific. So leave it to one Portland chef to get very creative. Instead of you attempting to get into a cramped restaurant on a busy night, why not just let that chef cook you an entire four-course dinner and then serve it you in his own dining room? Portland, you never cease to amaze.

That's what Chef Nick is offering on AirBnb right now under the "experiences" option. The chef will invite you to his home in Portland and then roll out a four course dinner with wine pairings based on local ingredients that are in-season at the time. Anything from oysters to lobsters to steak and everything in between.

The reviews of this unique experience are glowing. Several diners visited Chef Nick's home in December 2018 and left strong endorsements based on the experience, ambiance and culinary offerings. But if you're interested, this particular experience won't come cheap. The rate per person is $130. What do you think? Would it be worth it?
